Radicalists set on fire the church of the UOC of St. Vladimir Equal-to-the-Apostles

February 3, 2018. In Sikhov residential area in Lviv, the church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church  (Moscow Patriarchate)  of St. Vladimir Equal-to-the-Apostles was set on fire by radical activists. The fire destroyed the roof lining, a 100-square-meter wood covering, the floor and the church implements.

In connection with the incident, Archbishop Filaret of Lviv and Galicia stated that it was “very strange when Christians express their political position by setting fire to a temple.”

Earlier, on January 28, radical activists blocked the church.
