People’s deputy of Petro Poroshenko Bloc was caught in manipulating the facts about the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

June 28, 2016. The Deputy of Petro Poroshenko Bloc Vadim Denisenko fell flat on his face while trying to play a joke on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), as the Union of the Orthodox Journalists reports.

The innate craving for beauty played a cruel joke on the Deputy of Petro Poroshenko Bloc. Denisenko saw a small church not far from Nezhyn, Chernihiv region, which injured his delicate taste. The church represented an ugly construction trailer with a shiny dome on top of it.

“I wonder what this priest who decided to claim future meal- place that way (not far from Nezhyn) has on his mind. And do not tell me that God doesn’t care where people pray. He really doesn’t care, but how can you deform more that ugly trailer?”- the deputy expressed his outrage on his page on Facebook. The church wouldn’t appear so “ugly” to Denisenko if it didn’t belong to the UOC – “Moscow church”, as the deputy said.

And since it’s a “Moscow church”, the Ukrainian media wouldn’t miss such an important topic. And now the patriotic edition Depo.ua blame the UOC for “incredible talent” on the “canonical” design of metal wagons.

In short, everything that we love: the righteous anger of patriots – against common professional principles. A skim through the Internet is enough to find this very terrible “Moscow” church, and confession to which it belongs.

The church is located in the village Jablonevoe (until recently – Radgospnoe) Nezhyn district of Chernihiv region, Lenin Street. In 2008 the religious community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyiv Patriarchate (UOC-KP) was registered there. In summer 2010 the Bishop of Chernihiv and Nezhyn Hilarion (UOC-KP) put and consecrated a cross here to build a church in honor of the Dormition of the Mother of God.

In the meantime, the followers of Filaret didn’t manage to collect the money for the construction of full-fledged temple, thus the church is located in a trailer under a brilliant dome. Well, Mr. Deputy and the supporting journalists, after revealing the full information the dome doesn’t look so ridiculous anymore, and the trailer is not so ugly … Because the God really doesn’t care where one prays. But it’s important not to lie to yourself and others.
