Desecration of Orthodox church in Kiev
August 2, 2016. In Kiev a church of Christ Resurrection in Lesnoye cemetery was robbed, as reports Union of the Orhodox Journalists.
According to the senior of the congregation, archpriest Nikolay Kostrubitskiy, he revealed the loss of the repository of the Holy Gifts and Eucharistic kit elements. Besides, brazen evil-doers opened all donation boxes.
Soon after the news dean of the Cemetery deanery, archpriest Sergey Veigo, arrived at the place.
The police having arrived at the locale of the crime made up a description of the stolen items and accepted an application from the senior priest.
