Vandals sprayed with paint the Transfiguration Church of Moscow Patriarchate in Chernigov
January 9, 2017. Unknown painted in red commemorative plaques installed on the walls of the Transfiguration Church in Chernigov (Ukraine). This is reported by TASS with reference to the head of the subcommittee of the Verkhovna Rada on tourism, resorts and recreation Anna Romanova.
“The Transfiguration Cathedral, the oldest Orthodox church in Eastern Europe, the cathedral is almost 1000 [years],” Romanova wrote in Facebook.
