The desecration of an Orthodox Church in Croatia

February 15, 2015. In the night from the 14th to 15th of February, on the eve of the great feast of the Presentation of the Lord Jesus Christ to the Temple, unknown persons violated the Serbian Orthodox cathedral of Saint Nikolas in Carlovac in Croatia, as The Information Service of the Serbian Orthodox Church reports. They caused damages in the altar, stole all crosses and broke all the worship objects related to the sacrament of baptism.

According to the Serbian Orthodox Church, such attacks took place previously several times. For example, in 2014 the attackers wrote on the walls of the church threats and offensive words. The representatives of the Serbian Church complained to the Croatian authorities but the perpetrators are not still found.
