Discomfort of the Standing Synod of the Church of Greece for the Greek Minister of Education
March 1, 2016. The Standing Synod of the Church of Greece, expressed unanimously its strong discomfort after the report of Metropolitan of Nea Ionia Gabriel for the interdiction to him to enter in a school and discuss with the students, as the official website of the Church of Greece reports.
For this reason, the Standing Synod decided a communication between the Archbishop Ieronymos and the Prime Minister of Greece, Mr. Tsipras, to whom he will give a letter of protest on behalf of the Standing Synod of the Church of Greece.
